From an idea that begin sprouting during a kids play group to becoming one of the few female, black-owned wineries around, Wine Vibes Micro Winery & Bistro is a welcome addition to the greater Houston area.
Located in the Sienna neighborhood in Missouri City, a suburb of Houston, Wine Vibes is owned by three badass black women. I was so excited to see this winery added to our local wine scene.
I loved the vibe of the place including all the great natural light from the floor to ceiling windows, the dark woods, and the cozy earth tones. It really is such a cool communal space.
I also really enjoyed the patio space and could definitely see myself enjoying a glass and watching the sunset. Even better, Wine Vibes is a welcoming space to the wine curious.

I’ve been a subscriber to this magazine for a while now and love that it pays homage to the African diaspora through food, drink and travel. It’s pretty cool that I’ve now contributed an article to them.
And yes, the peach and prosciutto flat bread is the business!
